That fast??

Nah... I don't believe it... Maybe with 110 octane ethanol and God pushing it.

An exhaustive look at Game & Watch {Joystiq}

Jul 2nd 2008 6:23PM How ironic this article came up. I was just rummaging around and found one of my old game & watch, Mario Cement Factory game... Fun and tough. I wonder how much it would go for on ebay?

The Bill Day giveaway (part 1) - Toshiba Gigabeat T400 {Engadget}

Jun 27th 2008 12:53PM Honestly... Everything (relative to what's available).

In the days of DOS, there was no competition.
In the days of Windows 3.0, Mac was nice... ok.. Yeah, I liked Mac's interface better but Microsoft had a billion times more programs and support.
In the days of Win 3.11... those were great days. Sun system V was nice for coursework, but Win 3.11 was for everything else. OS/2 just wasn't viable.
Pretty much the same story (for me) as time went by.

Bill, your innovation and marketing did WONDERS for the computing industry. Regardless of what every naysayer says, if it were for you, Jobs and the researchers at Xerox Parc labs, computing wouldn't be where it is now. You guys brought forth the information age and brought computers and computing to the masses. You will never be forgotten and if (when) you decide to comeback into the computer world again (ala Jobs and Next), trust me, you will be welcomed with open arms.

Now how about you buy up Novell and help those Suse guys out ;)

Brando's four-port USB hub comes with on / off switches {Engadget}

Jun 19th 2008 5:11PM I've had this hub since I bought it from Yodabashi Camera in Akiba a few years back (in white not yellow).

It works.
Nothing special.

The switches are a little loose but you know when it's switched on or off. It's a really helpful feature but alas, it's just a regular hub. It does it's job well. No complaints.
