SVX ugly? You got beat with the complete-lack-of-taste stick, Ramsey, especially considering the turds you lump it in with. There is still nothing on the market as distinctive and attractive as the Subaru SVX from an aesthetic perspective for under $159k American. But then I should expect no less from someone who can't tell the difference between a stick and a baseball bat.
Real physics don't work in online games, actions take too long to have any effect. CCP tried to implement them in EVE, they tried for a long time, and it just doesn't work.

What you get is a vague approximation that gives you something that can be played in real-time, rather than played out over the course of hours or days for a single engagement.
Is anyone sick of this crap yet?

They should apply a fee to Microsoft, or any corporation, on a logarithmic basis for each lawsuit it files in any given year.
What I want to know is, how do you get this piece of junk to go out of demo mode.

After 5 minutes of streaming live video to my computer, all of these cameras (1 D350 and 2 D750s) go into some stupid store-demo mode where they start showing off their special effects.

Of course, there is no manual available on the website, and the rental company didn't provide paper copies.

Help!
Ugh, yet another new laptop that ships only with Vista. When will the manufacturers get a clue? There are a lot of people who DO NOT WANT Vista, and an option to get them with XP Pro at the very least (or better yet, no OS at all) would make the potential sales base a lot larger.

Perhaps they have decided they are no longer in the business of selling computers, but prefer to be drones to the Microsoft queen bee, doing her bidding to the exclusion of all else.
They could get both formats up to 150x in the same box and sell it for $20 bucks and I still wouldn't touch it.

1 word: slow

Don't expect to be playing much more than Bejeweled with this video connection, or displaying a huge spreadsheet.
Now I just need to stuff several of these into a box and make a nice RAID5 configuration.

Maybe if "A" gets his way, I can forego the case and mount them on particle board for a combination functional storage array and sculpture.
Are there actually people in the world who want a camera on them every second that they are on their computer?

Are there actually people who think their Windows machines are secure enough to prevent someone from cracking them and observing everything visible through the webcam?

There's a reason I don't have a webcam, anywhere, at all. It's bad enough that people have to meet me face to face on occasion 8^)
Darn.

Now I am going to have to cancel my Alienware laptop order and wait another month.

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
