Jul 2nd 2009 3:34PM Its fine to come up with an original story based on a game but its not fine to use parts from the game in the wrong way. The Lara Croft movies were perfectly fine because they stayed true to the main character and then made up a new adventure, they used references in the right way and made a movie that could easily become a real Tomb Raider game.
The RE movies just doint give a shit about the games. They take things from the game then totally jack them up to the point that theyre just nonsense and cant fit into the universe at all. Theres really no reason the movies should be called Resident Evil.
