There will be a new X-Fi DAP from Creative coming soon. They were aiming for a CES release but it got delayed from what I've seen/heard.

That toy is actually from a partnersip with Hasbro to make kids toys with an MP3 player inside. Here's my post about it: http://www.epizenter.net/comment.php?comment.news.239

That SRS button might also function as the EQ button, if not other custom functions.
Quoting Jobs' prediction of Microsoft coming out with a player as a sign for his knowledge of the industry is like being in awe of a meteoroligist who says "it's going to rain sometime this year".
That's definitely how the final product is going to look:

Nothing like paying* 50.00 more for something that comes standard in other players is what I meant to say above.

John seemed really amped about the new Gigabeat. It looks alright, although I'm not feeling the silver so much. The GUI on the F-series looked nicer than the new Microsoft PMC GUI. I would also like to have a black version in the 30gig capacity.
This is probably the best DAP at CES besides the new Sandisk player. The diagonal touch strip conforms perfectly to your hand, making navigation a breeze. The unit will come loaded with both file tree and id3 tags I believe. It will also have DRM support. This is one DAP to look out for.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
