So are these just rebadged cameras from someone like Olympus or some Chinese budget brand?

The software behind these things nowadays is pretty extensive. I can't imagine a small company developing it all from scratch.
I'm glad the Android Kirfs are starting to arrive.
I've never been keen on the idea of buying a Kirf WinMo phone.

But this could be noice.
My first thought was that I can't buy a phone with that name.
I'll feel vaguely racist every time I look at it.
(Third attempt to break thru this damn comments system. grrr.)

What if you only have 20 people in your little tech company?
The Enterprise Program is for companies with staff of 500 or more people.
Actually this shows the awkwardness of the whole App Store/Approval system in many cases.

If you have a specialised program that is really only of use to your company and a small collection of customers, then you don't particularly want to put it out on the App Store.
And you don't want Apple's approval. Apple really has nothing to do with it. It's your in-house project.

You'd be better doing this stuff on WinMo. (And that's not meant to be flamebait.)
I have loved you since before I was born.
Beyond time, beyond the reaches of space, I have yearned and hungered for you.
My darling.
My only wish. Be with me always. Till DEATH rips us asunder.
My Samsung Android handset.

Can you even tell what it looks like?
It's a vague red blob to me. Perhaps is has a keyboard, but I can't be sure.
Is a Smartbook sort of a MID, but a bit bigger?
Is it a Netbook but running a mobile OS?

Well you don't have to swallow it.
... you can use it as a suppository.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
