bah, it still uses exchange. since i use exchange for work, and you can only have one exchange account hooked up to the iphone at a time, this is useless to me.

so close, google. looks like i will stick to mobileme for now...
Nintendo Wii with this thing would just be too incredible for words, but I'd sure like to give it a try anyway.
I don't think I want one if it is going to display weather predictions that end up being that wrong. :)

On a more serious note, it looks like something I could have made in shop class. $150? I don't think so.
While there aren't many mainstream uses for a product like this, it would be useful (with some additional software) for the niche group doing geo-tagging. Use this with a laptop (in your backpack or something) which is connected to GPS, and you could have each picture you take transmitted right to the laptop and tagged with the current lat/long data. There are other geo-tagging solutions out there right now, but they tend to require more human intervention. This could be pretty automatic.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
