My local Tsutaya is selling blu-ray players for ¥10,000!!!!

Damn cheap! it is a no name brand, but still, damn!
Why is this on engadget now?

Eneloop have been out for years (as they said!)

Is the next post going to be about this new amazing Blu-Ray format?
My MiniDisplayPort-HDMI adaptor doesn't work anymore under Snowleopard. It was a super cheap on out of Hong Kong, but even though! It sucks that I can't connect to my TV anymore. I don't want to have to buy 2 adaptors from apple (miniDP-DVI and then DVI-HDMI!)
I bought the TX1 as soon as it came out here in Japan.

It's the best tiny camera I have ever had. The best night time quick photos and 720p video I have seen also. When you want to take photos at night with your friends, you want the photos to work and not be blurry messes without the flash. This is the first camera I have had that does that.
Head to New Jersey Craigslist for lots of Apple bargains!

Sweet!!
Oh Kryton, it took you thousands of years before you were able to lie about the colour of an orange!!!

This is surely some twisted basic false logic programming. Otherwise, where would all the calculators go???
I was hoping Apple might jump into the growing netbook market.
But alas, yet again they have failed.

Luckily HP just released the 2140. That is the Mac Netbook that Apple never made! I just hope we can get OSX86 on it well (the mini1000 is not going so well)
Amazing work!

Shame it is 100% wrong.

It is about the problem of elderly people (who have lot's of savings!) being called up by people pretending to be their son in trouble and asking them to transfer cash using the ATM (you can transfer cash to other people's accounts using the ATM here in Japan).
i know a woman here in Tokyo who received such a call. She said the scammer said it was her son, but he was in the living room, the scammer hung up immediately!
Why does Engadget of all sites question the act of overclocking to the limit? Unless is was a rhetorical question?

Anyway! I love overclocking and I love absolutely crazy overclocks!!! Good work sir! we salute you!
It's a shame it is not a hologram.

I just saw the second interview also!

it is clearly superimposed on to the studio image. 3 clues!

1. They don't look at the person, but off to the side (probably at a TV Screen), they also look unsure of themselves (like they are lying about the person really being there in the studio).

2. they said that the cameras were tracking the movements of the studio cameras! which is so that they can overlay the image so that it looks like they are panning around the "Hologram"

3. They did not mention anything about how they project the image. All of the wonder was on the side of the person being filmed.

Lets take an Archam's razor to this. Which is more likely? They have used current techniques for superimposing an image over the video (using camera tracking) and are lying about it. Or they have made a revolutionary holographic display technology, but are keeping it's inner workings so secret that even Engadget hasn't reported about the original manufacturers of the tech.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
