This would be perfect for the kids. (And keep them off my system)
My girlfriend would love this.
This would be perfect to give to the GF. :)
@ Hibiki:

Why on earth would you be a bitter D200 user? It's still a fantastic camera and it will still allow you to capture wonderful images. I loved my D70s when I had it and my D200 was even better. My D300 is better still, but there was (and still is) nothing wrong with either of the older cameras I had. Don't be a glass half empty type and just enjoy the wonderful piece of equipment you have. And if you really can't stand it, tighten your belt and pony up for something better.
Wow, There's some fantastically bad Engrish in the read link:

"Tanita Corporation President and CEO of谷田Daisuke, said at the presentation of a "20th century tobacco and tackle century, but the 21st century is the century of obesity and tackle," said the mast to measure the need to appeal. なお、本製品は業務用の製品となるが、一般家庭向けの展開については「今のところは考えていないが、出してみて要望が強くなれば考える」としている。 In addition, this product is for products and services, a home for the expansion of the "Right now it is not considered a request to try out strongly consider it," he said."
Just what I need, Master Chief to come over and kill my GPA. :)
nuphantom & Rusty:

If you're a serious artist and you've ever used one, you would understand why they charge so much. I've used several other tablets and they were all total crap compared to the real deal. You get what you pay for.

Do I wish they were less expensive? Of course.
Am I willing to pay what is necessary for a real tool? You betcha.
Josh: It has nothing to do with megapixels, the Hassy lenses are much larger to provide an image circle for the 48x36mm medum format sensor (actually they're still designed for 56x41mm medum format film, but that's beside the point), an lens for a full frame Canon or Nikon SLR is designed for a 36x24mm image area. It would be like trying to use an EF-S or DX lens on a full frame camera (while Nikon will let you do this on the upcoming D3, the resolution drops from 12mp to 5mp because it is using only the center portion of the sensor (and Canon won't let you do it at all)). If we assume there aren't any other technical hurdles, you would get severe vigneting towards the edges of the frame. If you're already spending nearly 40 grand on a camera, why skimp another couple of thousand on a lens (most of the Hassy lenses are in the $2-3,000.00 range).
Maybe they outsourced thier marketing department to the Czech Republic or some other former Eastern Bloc country where they haven't invented vowels yet? I can't think of any other rational explanation for their continued use of such a tired naming scheme.
A lot of people love to malign the Mighty Mouse, but mouse feel is one of the most highly subjective areas of computer interface design. Personally, I love my Mighty Mouse, the scroll ball is worth the price of admission on it's own, and it fits well in my hand and I don't get any undue strain from it. The side buttons are no problem and the right click works fine on mine (although to be fair, this is my second one, the first did have problems recognizing a right click). I also have an MS Bluetooth Mouse & Keyboard, both of which feel good to my hands as well. On the other hand I tried one of the newer Logitechs a while back and thar particular shape was awful for me, even though it was very similar in size and shape to my MS mouse. Bottom line, find what works for you and go with it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
