Silly toys.

I'll stick with my Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS watch.
Not a single comment that in the pic the guy is sporting a $1700 dollar set of headphones, the oh so pretty Qualia 010?
"5-10 grand on control systems LOL"

As hard as it may seem to view the world from a perspective other than that of a 13 year old. There are folks who have home theatres with motorized screens for the projector, automated blinds, dimming lights etc.. once you add up all the parts and labour for the installation and unified control...

This would make ATI current generation's 3Dfx ;p
Shaun B, this is why you check the md5 hash string to verify the authenticity.

Is everyone 12 here?
eric, what the heck are you talking about. S60 Nokia phones had RS-MMC or SD expandability for years. Heck my 6260 rocks a 1gig RSMMC card. And it is older than Moses.
Stick a toshiba 60gig hdd in it (MK6007GAH same as in ipod) with 802.11g and I will give microsoft my first born for one of these.
Sam, you do realize that without a dollar figure per GB,your statement if quite flawed.

look at DL media today. "omfg+++11!!!!oneone it stores twice as much as a regular dvd" yet how many people buy it? Very few since it is quite a lot more expensive per GB.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
