mmm mmm mmmmm. I cannot wait to get my hands on an HD PB&J..... Delicious!!!!
This has a sharp looking screen, I really like its portability.
Wait a minute, Wait a minute. Hold it just one second!!!! Are you telling me that this phone (btw I read the linked article just to verify) does not work this HSDPA, meaning that the unlikely purchaser of this device is forced to surf on Edge (yes I know it has Wifi) if we were actually to purchase this. C'mon it was bad enough using my 1g iPhone with Edge for a year, but that was almost two years ago. How could Nokia release a 3g phone in the USA and decide not to conform to our GSM 3g, seriously how many handsets priced above $50 to they expect to sell, 5 maybe 6? Even the biggest Nokia fanboys would never spend more then, $50 on a 2009 cell phone that doesn't have 3g yet is a Multi-Media device. This really is mind-boggling, honestly if this phone had 3g I could see a lot of prospective BlackBerry Bold buyers choose this phone instead especially if they wanted a solid keyboard and did not to access e-mail from a secured e-mail server. Nokia simply does not get it.
I agree, especially prior to this smart phone revolution. For instance the original Razr had great software that ran good on T-mobile and ATT, yet Verizon botched it with their own firmware that made navigation inherently difficult. I could never understand why they would do that.
I'll tell you why, because the economy is so awesome, that we need to spend all the extra money we are making, just look at how the Dow is kicking butt right now, and then you will understand.....LOL, seriously though I totally agree with you, storage is getting so cheap that any optical media, seems totally senseless.
(Typing in a cold sweat), I just had a nightmare, that I was the first person to lose my Macbook Air.... Thank God it was just a dream, I just woke up to find my nice fat Black Macbook nice and charged.
I love my iphone, but I got to hand it to Palm, I love the white. It looks awesome in that color, and if your not going to innovate (regarding Palm) nor add any new features, at least get the color right (which they did here).
Yeah what is up with that? Not only in the Centro but in all smart phones, why do they need to go smaller then SD, SD is really small, mini SD and Micro SD are pointless, they are actually to small, its not like the power requirements are much different. Any difference in power consumption between micro-mini (whatever), and SD is negligible at most.
Listen I'm sort of going to defend D-Train. I had Verizon for five years, and all that time there phone's sucked and they continually acted like big brother, by installing there own shitty UI, and crippling any ability to transfer files via any method other then shitty BREW. But now that I am an At&T customer (iPhone user of course), I can honestly say that Verizon had far superior cell coverage. Verizon is the only company where you can travel literally any where in the U.S. and get some form of cell service. With At&T I get at least 3 dropped calls a day, on top of another 20 people saying that I cut out during some part of a conversation. It is so frustrating at times that I really do miss Verizon. BTW I live in an urban area in South Eastern Michigan, where cell service is plentiful, yet the cell coverage between At&t to Verizon, is startling.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
