Rick, I looked last night and the new site doesn't have any method of payment available at all, let alone major credit cards. Sure, my account balance of $-.09 was still there, but there's no way to add more.
I sleep in exactly this position almost every night, and I snore like a chainsaw. A more comfy pillow for that position would be nice, though. Not 99 bucks worth of nice, but nice.
My guess is that they'll stop charging for Xbox Live. That would be pretty major and fairly easy to keep quiet in advance of any announcement.
Here's a photo from Maker Faire without that ugly fairing getting in the way of the pretty batteries:

The service plan kills this for me. Someone needs to come up with something similar that has a per-use fee. Like if I were to use this as a DIY lojack, the only time I'd want to track the location is when the car's stolen.
yes, but how much will it cost? if it costs more than hiring an electrician for an hour or two to run cable in the walls, will it be worth it?
I've already got an Xbox360 I'll be using with it, but also plan on picking up a Wii as soon as I can actually find one.
I'm using my xbox360 right now.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
