Jul 7th 2009 6:13PM I was able to get Hero running well on my G1 with an overclock/Swap space combo.
Nab yourself a Class 6 microsd and run swapper. It won't be as fast as cupcake with similar upgrades, but it will be fast enough to use without noticing the lag.
Right now Hero's problem is a lack of bluetooth on the G1, which is about to get fixed.

Jul 5th 2009 2:25PM I was all excited about JGE about 2 months ago. Since the delay, I haven't really given it a second thought. It's achieved near vaporware levels with a lack of real info.
Their marketing/advertising guys should be fired on the spot. You can't hype the release that much, delay it, and give zero info on the new launch date. These are massive tactical errors in a tough market which leads me to believe the final product will be a failure.

Jun 30th 2009 2:10PM I don't know about you, but I love the es line. I test drove one and loved it. Sadly, I'm 6'3" and Toyota doesn't seem to get that people in the US are taller than 5'10". I have to open the moon roof to use them.

I prefer the parental controls within the console, but this works too. You can give an "allowance" of play time to let the children play as they budget on their own.
