They lost a total of 77,000 in the quarter. This was after the big boys back home in Europe told them they needed to turn it around by next summer. The impressive gains they had last year after the G1 debuted will vanish as those enthusiasts go to better hardware on other carriers.
I want T-Mo to stick around, I've been with them since they were Voicestream. Hell, my SIM card is still the old Voicestream one. They've always been great to me and my family, but the future is a little bleak right now.

Nov 9th 2009 10:29PM Well, yes, as a T-Mobile user under contract if I had to get a new phone today it'd definately be a Cliq. Doesn't change the fact that Q3 was so bad for T-Mobile that they might not be around this time next year. The only change between now and then has been the new rate plans.

Still you can use a skype or gizmo line into your home and double it up with google voice. Gives you a landline and you use it instead of your cell.

As for T-Mobile in general, they'd better hope these new rate plans work. Verizon has really backed them into a corner with the Droid. They no longer dominate the up and coming Android world. 3rd quarter was so weak too. Without the handsets to match, these plans will pull them under.

So? Verizon straight up said we have more 3G coverage than AT&T. They then proceeded to back it up. Are you saying they cannot advertise 3G at all because some people don't know what it is? This is the most baseless lawsuit ever and any judge would dismiss it very quickly.
