Marshall is preferred for its "combination of quick trials and plaintiff-friendly juries, many lawyers say," according to this article: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/24/business/24ward.html?ei=5088&en=65001ada21beb03a&ex=1316750400&adxnnl=1&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss&adxnnlx=1159244426-TZeEnYm9mAOhbIBMqeRjGQ

Docket schedule (actually getting a chance to hash things out) is a big thing, because all that time your bill for infringement is running. If you're not infringing, there's still a quell on production (for fear of infringement).
Engadget; why don't you guys educate yourselves on patents? It's not a terribly difficult subject to get the gist of, and it may help to better inform your readers rather than inciting speculation.

Teach a man to fish and all.
Read and write speeds are pretty atrocious, especially for a drive in this capacity. I think I might go with the HAL9000 unit from thinkgeek instead.

And who complains about 0.5g other than cyclists, NASA and drug dealers?
0.4 x 0.73 x 0.37" per their data sheet.
Looks a whole lot like the $99 SpeckTone.

Benefits to the Griffin Amplifi however, are the remote control, a 5" vs. 4" woofer.

I can say that the SpeckTone sounds great though.
Try the Alpine Musicsafe plugs. A bit pricey ($40USD) but much better clarity IMO than the Earlove/ER20/Hearos you own. Much more discreet and comfortable as well. Next though, I'm just going with custom plugs.

A good (inexpensive but accurate) sound level meter can be found at RatShack ($50), but are not very portable. There are a few I can think of, but can't recall the names of that go for under $20. One is also an earplug case if you decide to search. In general, I carry my plugs everywhere and wear them when I go out.
Negative ghostrider, the pattern is full (No cablecard).
These bear a striking resemblance to my Stanton DJ PRO2000 (also IXOS, also Ministry of Sound) headphones.
At least in these pictures, the engines are not actually attached. If you read his page about the jet-powered (VW) Beetle, you'll see the jet scoot is just an idea.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
