So does this mean I could load the Ubuntu Linux Mobile Edition onto my Windows Mobile Powered Cingular 8125? 'Cause that would be cool.
I am soooo making one of those for my kids (when I have them that is). Still missing the critical ingredient of the wife :D.
I don't know why cars are still allowed to have large (relativly) variations from actual mileage and speed. It isn't that hard at all to get accurate readings. A 20 dollar bike computer can do it without much trouble. The variation standard should be much less than 1%.
Soooo, tell me again how this is different than WM5.

Oh, that's right. It's a sea green theme.
Great job. Now the FCC needs to take on the cell phone companies there are several things that need to be done about them.

-limit to one year contract.
-seperate phone and service sales entirely
-bring text message charges back to reality
-bring internet cost to realistic levels
-make it easier to keep numbers
-eventually do away with contracts (pay only for the service you get, not have to repay for phone)
Is this going to unify the platforms, or do we have to wait till Photon to do that. I've used both smartphone and ppc edition. I like my cingular 8125 better than the 2125, but there are many features I miss like the profiles, ringers based on calenders, and totally integrated one button (not touch screen) control. PPC is more powerfull, but the smartphone version is just put together better. Until Linux really gets going on phones, I'll have to make due. can't wait for that linux based palm os.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
