You guys are all a bunch of fanboy 'tards. Your lives are so empty that you need to associate yourselves with some corporation to define you. You're so insecure that you feel the need to insult each other regardless of anything other than you want to wave your dicks around to get noticed.Well, guess what. It's not *your* company that you're mindlessly following and defending. It's not *your* sports team that you blindly follow. It's not *your* anything other than *your* opinions.

So you all need to just shut the fuck up you faggots!
I'm gonna have to kick your sorry ass.
Easy does it there folks.

Nobody on these boards has a sense of humor...

:)
But what about the Wii version?!?!?!
VanGuardian,

Just a little bit of verifiable information...

Processor Speed
XBOX 733 Mhz
Wii 729 Mhz
360 3.2 Ghz x 3

System Memory
XBOX 64 MB
Wii 64 MB
360 512 MB

Video Card Speed
XBOX 233 Mhz
Wii 243 Mhz
360 500 Mhz

Video Card Polygons
XBOX 116.5 Million
Wii 145 Million ~ Maybe
360 500 Million

Video Card Fill Rate
XBOX 1.82 Gtexels/sec
Wii 1.89 Gtexels/sec
360 16 Gtexels/sec

In some ways, the Wii is slightly more powerful than the original XBox and in others it's not. While the GameCube was considerably less powerful than the original XBox the Wii is somewhere on par with the original XBox. Certainly not cutting edge technology. So, fundamentally, at best the Wii should be capable of getting close to what the original XBox was able to do. The original XBox also had several 720p and 1080i games in their library.

If the story is true (http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=37694) then why doesn't the Wii offer HD? Framerates appear to be the explanation, but if the Wii is as capable as the unverifiable post you've liked to is true then there's something wrong with the architecture that causes low framerates.
Thanks SWAZYCWAZY,

I've got a couple of those too.

I don't know if it's the marketing of this generation of consoles of some weird social internet phenomenon, but I never saw so much insecurity and apparent hatred directed towards others before now. It's becoming more and more rampant, from my perspective.

Why should anybody have to "...stop your god damn bitching."? Isn't that what these forums are all about? Free exchange of ideas and opinions and all that. Looks to me like this is Joystiq and not WiiFanboy or PS3Fanboy or 360Fanboy. If anybody expresses an opinion that somebody else doesn't like why does it degenerate into name calling and telling others to keep it to themselves? That seems very contrary to the nature of forums.
The lack of GameCube titles bothered me a lot too. It's the one thing, aside from the graphics issue I have, that makes me worry about the Wii and where it is headed.

While at first I would choose GameCube versions of cross-platform titles early on, I ended up moving my purchases to the XBox in the end. PS2 exclusives were the only PS2 titles I was buying for that system by the end of the last generation.
Myke,

Of course the graphics of any title on the Wii or the Cube couldn't be reproduced in a DS. I would've liked to have seen Nintendo put more capability into the Wii than just a speed bump from the Cube. The games I've played are fun and satisfying, as with most Nintendo titles I've ever played. I just wish that they hadn't introduced this divide in the gaming community that comes from their marketing strategy.

And I agree, Fight Club rules.
JodyAnthony,

I hope you didn't take offense at the fanboy remarks from earlier then. Nothing personal of course.

I find it's just better to be console platform agnostic and spend all my money and time on every system. They all have their advantages and they all have their disadvantages. But the rabid fanboy mentality of slamming everybody else if their opinion differs from your own is just wrong.

The anonymity of forums like these provide a lot for people to be just plain rude to each other.

"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
