That's because you're a moron.
Not just women. I like games that fit these kind of characteristics too.
I saw the article on the BBC website. Just searched through my cache now but it looks like the D&D version of the page overwrote that one :(
I certainly hope consumers are voting with their wallets and staying away from EA's tired rehashes.

Part of the problem for me is the price of the games. Why pay £40 when in a couple of weeks time there will be one in the second hand bin for £30.

Also there's the fact that I always buy XBox games second-hand, because I don't want to give any money to Microsoft, but that's another matter.
Typical. Hit on some hard times and the first thing to go is always the dog....
The fact is that the PC is a much more open platform than consoles are, and quite frankly, the more open it is, the better. Consoles are completely closed to the point where developers need permission(!!) just to release a piece of software on them.

If you want a console, buy a console! By being more open, PCs only become richer. Just be glad that you have a choice between "open, but difficult" and "easy, but closed."
This news is so old!
Blast. I just put PC, then realised I have about 300+ games for my Amiga! Of which I'm sure at least... 50 are legal.
I'm hoping it'll be the new Intel based mini mac. Because I want one!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
