It's sad to know that I won't be reading posts from you on Slashfood anymore, Marisa. But as you already know, I'm a fan and a follower :)

When one oven door closes another one opens...
1) Where can I park this? I'd guess anywhere you want. It's armored. No one can steal it.
2) How do you insure an armored truck? It has six gun ports. Isn't that insurance enough?
3) What do you do when you want to sell it? Sell it to me so I can turn it into a rolling, armored restaurant like the Koji Taco truck. Gun ports are more eye-catching than painted flames. :)
I'm not that into hot dogs, but I am a sucker for corn dogs (and those awesome Hot Dog on a Stick uniforms). I'm wondering if you could hack this dough into a baked corn dog? Hmmm...
Thanks, Slashfood and Happy Holidays! Creme Brulee is so easy and so elegant...perfect for holiday parties :)
I'm with you, Marisa! I too have felt a renewed sense of patriotism and real hope that we are going to turn this country around :) Thanks for sharing my love of muffins and the USA! Your blog post was a sweet treat to find this morning...
How about a tasty grilled cheese with homemade tomato soup... Pictures and step-by-step directions here: http://www.averagebetty.com/?p=198

I think letting kids get involved in the process is the key to being able to use "good" ingredients and preparing a comforting classic that kids and adults will love :) It takes a little longer to cook with kids but the lessons and memories last a lifetime...
Such a fun time, Marisa! Thanks so much for sharing your afternoon with lil' ol' me at The Getty!
I don't have any ham ball recipes (and I don't believe I've ever had a ham ball) but the Hand Jive begs this parody... "born to ham ball, baby!"
I can't wait to see this documentary... it is on tomorrow at 9PM for me!

"Cooking up a Story" did some great interviews with the film maker, Curt Ellis, that may pique your interest:

I have such a good visual of the night you describe with your pal, Cindy. The the kind of simple, easy-going night fish tacos were made for.
My baja fish taco is truly honored. Thank you, Marisa...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
