Any comment will do? Really? Even this one? Awesome!
This is open in Canada, finally, too? Count me in!
You do know that Electric cars are MUCH more efficient than their gasoline-burning bretheren, don't you? Or are you drinking the oil lobby's kool-aid just a little too much?
Just a thought, but if this battery consumes oxygen as it discharge, does that mean it generates oxygen as it charges?
Yup, that was Honda too, and the official name for the commercial was "Cog", and there was no CG involved in it's making whatsoever: http://www.snopes.com/photos/advertisements/hondacog.asp

Honda seems to do a LOT of these innovative, novel, and thought-provoking (as well as pretty damned cool) ads. Check out "Choir", "Impossible Dream", "Cog" (obviously), and many more.
As mentioned elsewhere, this is nowhere near as good as Sega's original simulator system, the R360. Full 3DOF? Sign me up!
The problem with saying "Get that charge time down" is that while it is feasibly possible (Connect all the cells in parallel and charge the whole lot with a massive current inrush), if you consider the power drain, it's simply not feasible.

Most household outlets are 15 amps, and most houses have a 200-amp main feed (IIRC).

And, of course, there's the issue of flash-burning the cells. Remember the Laptop Battery fires? You try and recharge a battery too fast and that kind of thing happens.
Curved LCD? Nah! This thing needs 2 synchronised projectors (DLP?) on either side of the headrest there to give you a nice 120 degree "Surround Gaming" experience, a half-way decent lapboard and mouse, and/or Joypad/Driving Wheel/Flight Yoke system.

It's already got the sound system (Which, I'm presuming, includes a kick-ass (Literaly?) subwoofer), and there'd be plenty of space in back for a high-end PC and/or consoles.

And it could do double-duty as a personal IMAX cinema. Bonus!
Why no love for us Canadians, eh?

What's your lawyers e-mail addresses?
Wow. You must really be blind to miss the part where it said it's SOLAR POWERED. That means no environments were harmed in the use of this device.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
