My thoughts exactly. I'm running CS4 with hardware acceleration on and it is quite perceptible.
I know I'm not supposed to be pissed because rules are rules but damn this is the first giveaway I'm actually saddened not to be part of because I'm in Brazil. It's a sad, sad day.
@eruh I don't really dislike it. But I liked the old one better
@pachi72 welcome to the age of Android. With a free smartphone OS available, there'll be more and more KIRFs running it.
Strangely, PC is affected by the passing of time, but Mac seems immune. Maybe the ad should show Mac as a completely different, black-and-white dude 'till the 90s and suddenly a change to Justin Long in 2001. Yeah, that would be a bit much truth.
Actually, I see no mention of "Portable" anywhere on the release page. I'm pretty certain the framework isn't nearly as limited as it was in the early Zunes.
Please please please keep archives of it online, not thru friggin' Hulu.

Signed: Your faithful international fans who can't view Hulu because Hulu sucks balls.
I'm certain no Brazilian operator is seeing any of these effects. Not charging 1000+ dollars (I kid you not) per iPhone.
Dad always said I should never bet when the odds are against me, so no, thanks.
I overheated my old XBox 360 (a.k.a. the towel trick) a few times to get rid of faulty video output... Let's just say it is a temporary fix as it eventually went full RRoD on me and I had to buy me a new one.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
