random piece of related trivia: it's george lucas' birthday today
haha yeah we would all REALLY love to work at gamestop
we're all so jealous of your low paying retail job, especially the way you describe how much fun it is to deal with all the customers!

this is an example of why i find myself walking out of gamestop every time i need their help - the employees in the 3 stores near me simply don't give a shit. tried to buy a DSi last week, the employee there told me he wasn't sure if he had any in, period. i had to ask if he could check, to which he replied that he couldn't and he'd have to wait for his co-worker to come back from break. i said fine, browsed some other games, and the other employee came back. the two proceeded to talk amongst themselves, and the first employee never even attempted to ask the second about my DSi. so i walked out and gave my money to best buy instead.
are people under the impression that replying to the first comment made gives them a better chance at winning?
this would be awesome for playing WoW
crowding the market with junk cpu's lately?
the phenom ii x4 940 rocks my socks off, and for a fraction of the price of the i7 940. if amd disappears then what's to prevent intel from jacking up the already high prices? both great processors but if the competition is no longer there then what would be their motivation to continue to innovate? i'm sure you love your new i7 but you'll hate it if in 10 years if that's still intel's top line
@who?

wtf are you talking about?! why do i have to use the world fault as a synonym for another word? why can't i use it to mean exactly what it means? she's at fault - period. there is no way to misconstrue that if you know what being at fault actually means. don't give me that welcome to the english language bullshit - you're looking to much into it. fault means one thing. being responsible for a mistake or error. who the fuck else is responsible for this mistake? you tell me

and @alex

you seem to really want to ignore the fact that this was labeled as and meant to be used as a FOOT massager not a fucking neck massager. if you really don't think it was stupid of her to take the protective cover off, use it on her neck, and get her shirt caught up in it then i think you should go out and buy one and give yourself a good neck massage. you're right i wouldn't have known that's how she died if it wasn't explained in the article but i could have made a safe bet that she didn't die while massaging her damn feet
@ alex

i'm sorry but how in the world can you possibly say that what she did WASN'T stupid?!

and @ who?

how can you say it's not her fault?! the machine didn't come to life and kill her, she died through her own STUPID actions. who else would be to blame? sure it was accidental but that doesn't change the fact that it was someone's fault
@ Prokanda

haha "do not take your laptop out your OF bag"? if you're just gonna troll around here wailing the sirens on your internet spelling police car at least be correct if you're going to try to correct someone. you just look like an idiot making an even bigger mistake and calling THEM illiterate - ha!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
