sounded awesome. went to the sony site, looked at the features and was reminded that it uses sony's MEMORY STICK instead of the normal SD cards.

seriously sony, your proprietary crap is the most annoying thing about your products. blu-ray is one thing, because you now dominate the market and everyone else uses it. but every other company uses SD cards. you're the ONLY losers who use your own proprietary crap so you can weasel out a few more dollars from your customers.

lame business practices and the PRIMARY reason I don't ever buy anything sony despite nice aesthetics.
@Valicore actually, he apparently doesn't know how to resize photos. his avatar says "print". i wouldn't trust his lying words.
i didn't know weeks were "shorter" in europe...
C'mon Tim. It's privilege, Tim. Privilege.
typing this from a recently acquired asus ul30a from amazon for the great price of $650. I was wondering if CES would produce something better and warrant a return, but so far the early leaks haven't seen anything in the same price range that's dramatically better. looking forward to the 5th!
Uh, because it's better? I'm using the engadget iPhone app right now to post this. The app loads faster than loading the entire engadget web page. The spacing on the words in the article is easier to read, easier comment viewing, 100 times easier to uprank or downrank (like when I downranked your comment), fast easy twitter and facebook integration, and that's just what I discovered in the 1 minute before I read your post.

One area of improvement needed is this stupid comment box. I can only see 6 words that I thumb-typed at a time. Get on it engadget! App update forthwith!
@Sachin yeah, i can relate to that. been saying that for years. sucks to not have a fickle american family. good part is after 18, you only have to deal with it for part of december, if at all. sucks though, doesn't it?
@Wesley agreed. engadget is sometimes a sad reminder of people's dickishness when they're supposedly safe behind their computer screens.
@ravissimo me brain fail :(
i have to critique this review...

i wouldn't call describe miley cyrus is in as "watchable".

thank you and good day.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
