In fact with decent equipment irregular analog sources ARE better than your average lossy compression that most people seem to prefer these days for some reason that is beyond me.

Besides, listening to vinyl is much more fun with all the rituals that fiddling with your iPod ;)

That said, I wouldn't buy some cheap Sony crap to listen to my records...

Well said. I can't be that hard to produce it in multiple colours for those who actually like their livingroom equipment not to puke on aesthetics...

They don't need one, they already have a solid customer base. Nokia is new on the market, so they have to make this kind of deals to attract customers from other services.

I highly doubt Nokia is going to release something that just a first public concept device of a new technology as it is. Yeah, it is pretty iPhone, but I'm sure the actual products will be more Nokia. No doubt Apple will try to get its share of this and probably will get some too :)

Polygon, a 2-dimensional place, is in fact just a one side of a Polyhedron (in this case a dodecahedron), which was probably the word you were looking for.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
