Apple iPhone 3.0 rumor roundup {Engadget}

May 29th 2009 11:52AM I sure hope they add an OLED display... With the Zune HD and the Sony going for it. My guess is microsoft thinki Apple is coming with an OLED as they rushed the news out. I'm a big iPhone fan and i sure will buy the new one but i'd still be disapointed if they don't have an OLED display. I'm still wondering what will the "One more thing" be!

Nokia's Point & Find service makes reality better {Engadget}

Apr 1st 2009 9:06AM Actually there's an app that does just that on the iPhone! It's called snaptell and it works great, free too... Still a nice feature on nokias part!

Skype for iPhone now live in US {Engadget}

Mar 31st 2009 12:51AM "Chaim Haas, a public relations representative acting on behalf of Skype, said the application is available in every country in which the iPhone is on sale and in which Apple has an iTunes Store — with the exception of Canada."

Say WAAA? SERIOUSLY? I just can't take that shit anymore is it the work of the CRTC yet again? I was looking foward to this and bam something goes wrong in canada... Am I the only one pissed off?

"Haas said this is because of patent-licence restrictions but would not elaborate except to specify that it is a patent issue related to Skype, not Apple."

And that patent does apply to other apps?

2G iPod touch to have Bluetooth capability unlocked by iPhone OS 3.0 {Engadget}

Mar 17th 2009 3:29PM I agree with bondsbw and Justin Paulson... Apple never said that A2DP was a feature in the iPod touch and people still bought it why would they give the feature for free... Apple is a business and they want to make money, thats the end of it.

Live from Apple's iPhone OS 3.0 preview event {Engadget}

Mar 17th 2009 12:57PM I seriously don't see how multitasking would be usefull to me... The only app i would love to see running in the background would be facebook or a IM app and that would work just fine if push would be implemented so that would be on top of my list! Am I the only one who doesnt really want to run 2 apps at a time?

Copy paste would be nice but again I don't see when or where I would use it... I would love to be able to edit doc or xls then copy paste would be useful.

I don't care for flash really but since I can't see some of the pages I read every day cuz the menu is in flash i'd love any kind of support even if it doesnt work all that well.

What about a way to organize the pictures in the camera roll thats been killing me, some more camera options would be nice too.

GPS with voice turn by turn directions....

Some sort of Exposé or Spaces to be able to change from one app page to the other.. or at least make it so when i'm at the first page, I can swipe my finger from left to right to see the last page.

iPhone 3G overtakes the RAZR as best-selling domestic handset {Engadget}

Nov 10th 2008 11:33AM Well actually it's not that cheaper in the us. It used to be 20$ for unlimited but I think its now 30$ for the 3g unlimited plan with AT&T compared to the 30$ 6gb plan with Rogers. Alright its not unlimited but I use the 3g network all the time and i've never busted out the 6gb. We've come a long way if you think that only last year it would've cost you 75$ for a 200mb plan. I still can't wait for the day when 30$ will buy you an all unlimited plan (voice, data, sms, voicemail, etc).

Sonos Controller for iPhone and Software 2.7 bring Last.fm, internet radio and 'the future' to your existing setup {Engadget}

Oct 28th 2008 11:13AM I've never heard of Sonos before but I find their product quite expensive considering that the only feature I would use is playing music from my library which can be achieved with the Airport Express (Which I actually use and it works great... 99$ Compared to what 350$?). Am I missing something here or is it just too damn expensive?

New Xbox Experience videos let you vicariously play dress up {Engadget}

Oct 28th 2008 4:26AM Haven't read much about it but I kind of liked the blades too! Glad about the features I know they've added... I just don't think they should've wasted their time fixing something that wasnt broken in the first place... Anyway i don't care really as long of I don't get lost in the menu like with my PS3! Am I the only one who thinks changing the system preferences on the PS3 is a pain?
