This thing is EXTREMELY BORING to fly and has ZERO translation speed. I bought one when they first came out and shortly afterwards realized that I had wasted my money. SERIOUSLY. DON'T. BUY. THIS. YOU'LL. BE. BORED. TO. TEARS. AND. REGRETFUL.
Go and buy something like the Walker 4#3B, it'll be a bit more expensive and a bit more challenging to learn how to fly but much more entertaining and rewarding.

It would be a natural thing for Apple to attend the Expo and then trump the fact that they have an official store now in Paris?

Maybe it's just me but seems like a logical thing to do.

This strikes me as an somewhat odd announcement considering Apple's not even going to be making an appearance at this year's Paris Apple Expo.

Wow, this is rather lame. I miss the days of a Keynote in the Palais des Congres. That said even when they were happening a number of years had gone by since anything substantial was announced during a Paris keynote. One would think with the strength of the Euro currently Apple'd really be playing to the European market and giving the European press and consumers something to chew on to thereby capitalize on the purchasing power of the currently strong Euro.

Wow they even managed to get a Mary Lou Retton lookalike up there on stage. If I was Bruce Springsteen I'd be suing the fools for assumption of personality rights.

This robot has an amazing amount of personality for what it is. Very well done by the creator.

Man, that is way tragic. I always had a bit of a fantasy to one day meet him.

Hmmm, I updated my phone to 1.1.4 and saw that my modem firmware was updated to 04.04.05_G and then used Independence to jailbreak my phone. It still showed the updated modem firmware. Then I used Independence to sim unlock the phone successfully but when I went to look at the modem firmware it was at 04.02.12_G. Not sure why that happened but I think I'll restore the phone and wait for the updated ZiPhone.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
