maybe it has something to do with Psion suing everybody's asses for using the word "Netbook"?
"whipped it out and put it to good use"

pretty sure most of us guys have been doing that since like forever. :)
You know, looking from intel's various partners point of view, i think they feel really ignored at the moment.

Kind of like you (intel's other partners) have been trying to get that hot chick (intel) by bringing her out for lunches, dates, etc only to find out that she has been sleeping with another guy already (apple) and that guy gets all the "custom" fun.

Haha. Poor partners.
i don't get it. why is it that the word "ad" pops up every time there is an article on the gPhone. I've been looking and looking everywhere and no where does Google mention they are gonna incorporate ads into the OS. I think i might be missing something among the flurry of news.

And even if it DOES have ads, isn't the whole point of this gPhone an open source platform? So, lets say if it has ads somewhere in the OS, doesn't that mean you can tweak the OS to remove the ads? It will be kinda like Linux right? Everything open source?

I am definitely missing something here.
oops, sorry. I forgot to add "in any screens" towards the end. :)
well, i wouldn't trade that blow up doll just yet.

For a blowup doll, you at least get some degree of realism (i assume that a blowup doll has some skin like material over "some parts" having never seen one myself) and see yourself doing it in full detail, real world technicolour, etc.

For this "thing", not only is your "partner" a robot with cold joints and possible painful innards, you have to content with seeing everything in pixelated and what looks like 16bit colour scheme.

Or, you could always learn to socialize and get a real girl. :)
hey buddy,

lets just say. You open up your house for a party FOR FREE. You provide food, entertainment FOR FREE. And for a party to be successful, it needs people. And to attract people, it needs food/entertainment that PEOPLE want. Oh, don't forget you are providing it for FREE.

Lets say. Everyone likes beef burgers. MOST people like beef burgers. So naturally, u provide beef burgers. Oh, don't forget, you are providing it for FREE. Why? So more people will come to your party.

Then. Then some idiot, comes into YOUR party, and demands VEGGIE burgers. Why? Cause he is a vegetarian. He says that the party is biased towards vegans and that everywhere is filled with beef. YET. In some failed logic, he failed to notice that it is not HIS party and people are providing, food/entertainment for FREE yet he is making such a big fuss over what HE wants. Remember, its YOUR party! YOU are giving all of this for FREE! And some guy comes and complain that there are no veggie burgers and that the whole party should be meat free. Idiot don't you think? He can just go to another party where there are probably more veggie burgers YET he stays around and bitches to YOU about how stupid and biased your party is by providing beef burgers.

Now, my question to you lain, is how will YOU feel if you were the guy hosting the party? What will YOU feel about the guy? Yea, whatever YOU feel, is what the engadget writers feel.

P/S: if you think, for whatever reason, that the vegan guy is correct in this matter, then, i can only hope that you see the light one day.
@Nimrod

Maybe they included the chinese Zune knock-offs in the statistics. :P
it does support Exchange, i think. I say i think because i am only basing this on screenshots of the UI having not seen any actual implementation of it yet.

actually it wasn't stolen by anyone but in regards to Apple stealing iRiver's "i" prefix is so wrong in every way. Facts:-

- iRiver was formed in 1999
- Apple iMac was introduced in 1998
- Apple iBook was introduced in July 1999

Apple was using the "i" prefix even before iRiver was formed as a company. Lazy to post links so google it up yourself.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
