After spending the weekend playing Singstar and Eyetoy with my non-gamer friends, I think that sony is actually way ahead of the curve.
how long until companies start leaking news of purposefully created exploits to sell more units?

I really wouldn't like to have to use a game to load up stuff the whole time.

I guess i'll just stick to my current firmware.
12. it's not like your DS stops working.

I'm going to get the DS lite since i've been wanting to get a second DS so i can play against my brother. =)
What's weird is the xbox is the only one with real multiplayer (live).

I would love to have this for the revolution one day though.

Lets hope that's why they delayed it =P

or you could just get a laptop and use it as a desktop replacement (with a laptop stand like the icurve).

wireless keyboard + mouse, and pretty soon wireless usb to handle external hard drives, ipods and an external soundcard.

You desk could be wire free save for the single power cable that goes into your laptop.
I just finished RE4 two days ago, and I was imagining how much cooler it would be with the revolution controller.

I hate aiming with an analog stick.

I'm still in love with my DS (i still haven't played castlevania, which is the reason I bought it in the first place), but i finally got around to picking up and finishing resident evil 4 for my GC the other day. Killer 7 is likely next.

I was going to pick up Prince of Persia for the PS2, but decided that I'd rather get a copy of it for GC when I am in canada next month. Gotta start boycotting sony somewhere. Also : gamecube load times are generally shorter and the graphics are generally better, but most importantly, it doesn't have that fscking annoying 30 second pause when accessing the memory card.

I am picking up a Nintendo Revolution on launch though. Even if I have to DHL the thing to south africa.
Please dear god let this make it's way to the revolution.

It's control could make it the natural choice for FPS games on console, and system shock 2 was one of my favorite games ever. (as was the original deus ex).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
