@Uncontrol It would be like suing Nike for not making running shoes big enough or small enough for your feet.
Your icon is quite appropriate.
There are so many great things done with Flash, I don't understand why people have this sentiment. Flash is what people make it, no amount of technology is going to change that. If HTML5 has the same capabilities as Flash, people are just going to do the same things with it.
@jon
How long they last is not as important as the half-life of the intensity.
Even if the blue still works, how long till it's at half brightness? How long till it's *noticeably* out of calibration? It /is/ a good thing that our eyes aren't as sensitive to blue as other colors, but that doesn't we won't perceive the color distortion at all. The only way to compensate is by lowering the intensity of the other colors, balancing them to the lowest common denominator.
I would gladly sacrifice compatibility and interoperability for some more competition in the e-book marketplace.
I'm a lefty and I play all computer games with my mouse in my left hand. I used to buy exclusively razer stuff since they made the best ambidextrous mice. Unfortunately, their best stuff is now in the righty only club. I'm feeling a bit left out. :(
I'm thinking about switching to Logitech stuff since they actually make a left handed mouse.
I'm curious how this thing deals with multi-pass effects. It either duplicates the scene rendering, starts passing buffers around, or breaks the visual effect.
I'm another left handed gamer. I hope they figure out their past success has been because us lefties have been buying their products.
OLED = poop
OLED monitors have a half-life on the brightness that is somewhere around 3 years for the blues. I don't like the idea of having to buy a new monitor every year or so to get balanced colors. A high dollar item like that should last longer.
What about chopping the spine off and putting the pages in a tray loading scanner?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
