Bring on the Treo. I want mine. What kind of nick is Fingers?
I want a Treo 700W too please. Congratulations Mike on winning yesterday's draw
For me, its the Linksys WRT54G. Have it connected to a powerbook (for the guy asking about connecting Linksys to Macs, it just works - you just join the network with your Airport Extreme card and bang, its connected) and 2 pcs. It just works and the configuration takes all of a minute to do. Have had mine for just over 2 years connected to a DSL router (up to my second one, currently Netgear DG834v2).

With the Netgear, I am too scared with updating the firmware. Currently running it at 2.0.22 and that for me is stable, so if it aint broke, why f**k with it :)

Tried D-Link and it just sucks. Everytime some comes to ask me about a wireless product playing, it must be purely coincidental that its a D-Link product. D-Links are really cheap and they are built down to the price. You know what they say, pay peanuts, get monkeys.

Whilst the customer base of UMTS networks is growing, it is mostly popular with consumers and small business, where network operators are offering ridiculous to get people to try their services and recoup some of the cost of money spent in licensing auctions and network setup.

The uptake amongst corporates of 3G has not been as strong. The main reason behind this is coverage. Over here in the UK, GPRS coverage is 98% of the population where as 3G coverage still hovers around 80% for all of the 3G networks.

This phone is aimed at corporates, and as such, it seems quite logical to use GSM/GPRS/EDGE. Having said that, a thin UMTS PDA smartphonew would be ideal (I am thinking alot thiner than the Treo)....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
