Just slap a few back face projectors in the thing, save the LEDs for something better says me! Maybe use some of that 3M light amplifying material or something. I don't know, I hate sporting events outside of my living room, so what do I know?
How are these LEDs arranged? Anyone know? It seems like the dimming capability would be limited to just the areas where the LEDs are mounted behind the screen. Not very precise is it?

oh well, cool anyway.
this is really very cool. I've been playing with it ever since the post went up, and under the right conditions, it's extremely accurate and impressive. All done with pixel processing by the way, no need for laser depth readings per se.
but how big is it? It would be kinda lame if it were any more than half a foot long. Probably not, but would be great if it was actual dragonfly size methinks.
Slingbox A/V
Dell Precision M90... with good batteries.

"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
