GONE to the chinese
I dare say the linux kernel source looks a damn sight more vicious than any virus :)
Foster's is hardly a great beer, though it could be a lot worse, american for example!

Why is American beer like sex in a canoe?
Because they're both f*ng close to water.
For the love of pangolin, do the posters on this kind of thing never read previous stories/comments? I dare say if I looked on engadget for "LEGOs" (sic) every single story will have someone (rightly) complaining it's LEGO not LEGOs. Next step down the ladder and we'll have "LEGO's". On a similar rant, if you're speaking english, the plural of euro is euro, not euros. Same as the plural of sheep is sheep, not sheeps.
Whilst I wholeheartedly agree it's lego not legos, on a similar note, please please learn that the plural of euro is euro not euros. If you want confirmation, look at an n-euro bank note, it says "n euro" not "n euros".
Don't forget that due to wear on the insulator, flash memory degrades the more frequently it's overwritten. Admittedly you'll get a few million read/write cycles per cell, which is fine for a digicam or mp3 player but without some nice algorithms to move files about on the "disk" for you, you don't want your virtual memory sitting in a flash drive.
The Q-be (v1) was a truly tremendous piece of kit, Dixons (UK) were selling the 1Gb ones for only £40 last year, however the UK editions appeared to lack the voice recorder or FM radio (perhaps a flash upgrade would sort this?)

Compared to the rubbish being to people who'd by poo in a tin so long as it said "apple" on the side, it's truly refreshing to see something as innovative as this.

The display seems quite a change from the original q-be. Though the only possible reason I can fathom for having it display photos is just to use it as an extra 2Gb backup to your digicam if you use it with a USBUSB adapter.

I doubt I'll buy one 'till my old q-be breaks, but if I reflash it and it does, I'll be in line!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
