That's what I'm curious about. What is the point of a console-to-console data transfer utility? Is Sony expecting people to need multiple PS3s for some reason? Like a forced upgrade from Phat to Slim?
@Slutty McNugget

Hello Kitty is popular for one simple reason: CUTE.

Do not underestimate the marketing power of CUTE.

Even Japanese men cannot resist a product that's been cute-ified.
I just bought one of these wooden folding bed trays from Bed Bath & Beyond for $15 or so: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=10179076

It's large enough to hold a 15" laptop and still have room for a (small) mouse. I use the handle to route the wires.

I just prop the back of the laptop on the lip of the tray to get the "cooling tray" effect.
Absolutely THIS. Then again, even

without the annoying

load screens, Galactrix just wasn't as engaging as Puzzle Quest was. Basically you just had to get a gadget that gave you multiple turns and then you win the game.

Meanwhile, Puzzle Quest Kingdoms is just lame. Once you pump up your defense a little to prevent accidental death, you easily become nearly invincible by exploiting the stupid AI.

I really hope Puzzle Quest 2 gets back to the old addictive gameplay that made the first one such a hit.
Did they leave the soundtrack intact? That was easily the best part of the game.
Windows already has their IME system which allows you to easily switch between character sets and character input methods. Users who use a non-Latin character set (Chinese, Japanese, Russian...) already have this installed. You can install it as well as it's a standard part of Windows' OS since Win98 or so.

So, entering the strings won't be the hard part. The hard part is all the underlying stuff that now has to be able to understand 8 bit, multi-byte characters. And what if you know the reading of a website, but not how it's written? For instance, how is "Toyota" written in Japanese? How you write it could result in a different website.

Moreover is the larger problem that Latin letters ("A") are repeated in all character sets for backwards compatibility purposes, but they do not all have the same byte value. Then there's other characters that look similar, but are not the same as more familiar letters. Which is the real letter A? Α? A? A? Answer? The middle one. The left one is from the Greek character set, and the right one is from the Japanese character set. However, used in a domain name, would you be able to distinguish which one is the legitimate address?
I'm reminded of that book from Diamond Age. This seems like version 0.0001 of that.
I'm with shanemspurlock here. I have the rear speakers of my system using the Rocketfish wireless system and it's just fine for rear speakers.

However he must have a slightly newer version than I do, since my receiver is always on, unless I turn it off. I just leave it on all the time since it doesn't suck down much power, and the receiver is stuck in the back of a bookshelf so it's not really convenient to power it on/off every time I use it.
I'm a bit confused by this title.

In your standard Koei 'warriors' title, you start out relatively weak, but as your character gains levels and/or weapons/items/etc. he eventually becomes a field-clearing menace.

But....with Kenshiro, he's ALREADY insanely powerful. He basically kills the wimpy peon gangs simply by looking at him. Even the leaders end up pissing their pants after seeing Ken dismember or otherwise dispatch a few of his posse in an inhumanly and painful manner.

So, where's the challenge or game play? It'd be like starting WoW with a fully maxxed out character. Yeah it may be fun for a few minutes but then the newness wears off and you realize there's no challenge, and therefore no fun.
Orochi2? Really? I still found it way overbalanced in favor of the player, making even Hard and Chaos levels a cakewalk after awhile - and then when you can make that one weapon add-on that causes your weapon's elements to fire all the time, your character basically turns into a walking ginsu knife. Cutting through armies and officers alike, like a ginsu knife through an old boot - and look it still slices tomatoes with ease! To unlock the final dream missions, you have to basically max out about 1/3rd of the whole cast to get those !$%*# proficiency levels...which never seemed to do anything in the game even BEFORE you become ungodly super-powered. Yeah, I did it, but geeze that final grind was about 15 hours of mind numbing repetition.

I'm currently playing through DW Gundam2, which is a vast improvement over the previous title. The mission system has enough challenge such that no matter how powerful your characters & suits get, the game will still hand your head to you if you're aren't careful. Of course that was before I discovered how unbalancing the pilot skill DG CELLS is. Oh well. You still have to be careful but now even the toughest mission is doable...just annoying.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
