2010? That means the United States should be getting it around 2028.
Interesting note: if you look closely (or watch the HD teaser) you will notice the TV is tuned to UHF channel 3 and the VHF channel 40. If you ever had antennae reception in the states you know that is backwards.
Should be 40 UHF, and 3 VHF.
Do we build little tiny slave ships? Do we build little cotton gin's? This is a fictional game; not your great, great grandpappy's manifest destiny lovin', murder-o-matic, war machine. Give me a break.
Jared, how do you extrapolate nothing from, "relatively inexpensive." Honestly if I can use my own money to do what I want with it rather than lining yours I am going to pick mine every time. And who says small-scale = efficient? Isn't usually through mass production that cost efficiency is greatest? Basic economics Jared, Basic economics.
Green power is good, but this green power still makes fatcats fat. I want a low-profile relatively inexpensive personal turbine that can handle most of my homes needs so I don't have to pay the man.
I'm also opening a CompUSA store.... In my pants!!!!!
Man, if I had a nickel for every time google bid me up on ebay! Those Bastards! What do they think they are doing by bidding on an auction! What Audacity!
I have been running a Geffen DVI over ethernet for over a year now with 100 feet of ethernet (It's advertised to support up to between 150 and 200). It cost right at 300 for the boxes and another 80 for two 100 foot, shielded, copper core (not twisted pair) cat 5e cables. It can do 1920 by 1080 just fine.

The only other option I have seen for long runs is DVI over fiber-optics which I did have, but 300 dollars for 30 feet was just a bit too pricey so it went on eBay.

The audio jack on this one is nice, but really the only reason you need gear like this is for sitting at the back of a live event, which means you have a separate audio snake most likely.
I live in the backyard of Sprint's headquarters. This company has no idea what it's doing or where it's headed. They lay off people only to hire them back in 3 or 4 months. They are constantly canceling projects and initiatives while starting up new ones that are just as wasteful or bone-headed. They waste 50 cents on every dollar they make in my opinion. The only thing you can expect with Sprint is delays and shoddy infrastructure. Heck the Verizon signal is stronger on their main campus than Sprint's own most of the time.
Console Envy eh?

The guy makes one of the coolest moded consoles ever and you have the balls to laugh at his voice. Classy.

How bout this... Ha Ha listen to this guys comment, he's a douche!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
