....or, this has nothing to do with ATT service in Ohio
I think it's actually much higher than 30%. This is my typical experience:

1. Make call. Call fails before connecting.
2. Redial. Call fails before connecting.
3. Redial. Call fails before connecting.
4. Redial. Call goes through. Talk for thirty seconds; call drops.
5. Redial. Call fails before connecting.
6. Redial. Call goes through. In one breathless sentence, tell person that I will send a text.

I suppose that ATT/Apple would qualify this as a 50% drop rate. To me, it's just a pain in the arse.
That's a sweet bit of gear. I propose we eliminate cash and go to the old barter system.
strange...i have installed x64 version using parallels and have had no problems. have you updated parallels to the latest version?
A couple of questions, you know, since they're in space:

how does the water stay in the toilet bowl?

when peeing, why would said pee go into the bowl and not up, sideways, around, everywhere? same with poop. i sort of figured they wore depends or the like.

is tang really just pee?

LOL just got an email from Apple, they're giving another 60 day extension (free) to existing ME users to apologize for its suckiness....too bad they can't also give away like three months of ATT service to apologize for iphone 3G/ATT suckiness
I wish people would stop commenting on the size of the download being related to the number of bug fixes. Each and every firmware update will require you to download the ENTIRE SYSTEM, just just a patch. So each update is going to be ~250mb. Okay? Okay.
Hahah totally true...they really didn't need to include Chicago or SF
I have a good source that Mossberg is about to report that the secret button actually causes certain -- ahem -- less qualified commentators to post incorrectly spelled and/or used idioms. Death nail. Heh.
This story is not correct. The TSA has NOT banned Li-Ion batteries but rather non-rechargeable lithium metal batteries. Your laptop batteries are fine, as are any other Li-Ion rechargeable batteries. Assuming that they don't explode, of course.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
