"F" for the pick recommendation.
"A" for the "Flight of the Conchords" reference.
@TavisJohn

Agreed. I was enthusiastic about recharging disposable batteries until I realized how poorly they perform. I bought the "correct" kind of charger and the instructions stated that to get an optimal charge you have to recharge the batteries when they are half depleted. I am not sure how I am supposed to tell when they are half depleted (since there is usually not a gauge on devices that use disposable batteries. But I can tell you that if you wait until they run out of juice then recharge them expect about 30% of the original run time. Second recharge is even worse.
In defense of recharging disposable batteries, I never had one explode.
Was just about to comment on those "tree-hanging" toes...

I was actually going to suggest that Lexus was taking cues from Mercedes. But they haven't quite sunk to the level of assigning completely arbitrary icons to each button.
I am basing this on my experience with aftermarket navi systems and the not-very-good-but-much-better-than-Lexus' Honda navi system.

Even the Honda navi uses a touch-screen interface for some functions and a 5-way joystick for others.

A $250 Nuvi outperforms the majority of these $2000+ integrated navi options.

I think what is indicated here is that the auto manufacturers (and some aftermarket companies, ahem Cartel) are significantly behind the technology trends. I love that Google has stepped in and undercut the economics of the entire industry.

Now if I could just get the new Google navi on my iPhone. :)
You do realize that Toyota is large enough to have separate divisions for Toyota and Lexus, right? That means separate design teams for each car line, separate teams for different models, and even each part of the car (exterior, interior, mechanical).

The styling and design at both Lexus and Toyota has diminished over the last decade. But Lexus takes the trophy for some of the most poorly designed human interfaces. The latest navi system is a prime example of something that looks good on the surface but fails to provide even the most essential of functions.
I'm not going to hold my breath. I saw a 14" 3D monitor (no glasses) at CeBit 7 years ago.
I was just about to ask why it ran on a rotary engine, but I thought it was the 13B model.
This headline is pretty misleading. Mac owners constitute 12% of the market and ON AVERAGE they own more gadgets than PC owners. Big deal.
This leaves room for a group of PC owners many times that of the entire Mac market who own even more gadgets than the Mac owners. But due to the huge overall number of PC owners, the average it lower.

But all that matters is who owns the most gadgets since we all know that's how we get into Geek Heaven.

I am a PC owner and I have more gadgets than the average Mac owner. Rapture in 5...4...3...2...
This tech has existed for a while now. You can use the Matrox TripleHead adapter to split a video signal to three monitors. You use one high-end video card to generate a high-resolution image then the Matrox adapter splits it evenly across the monitors.

The only thing new here is the 6-monitor support.

The problem with this approach is that many games do not support the custom resolutions needed or a wide enough field of view to take full advantage of this solution.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
