Thanks for the knowledge inteller. We both have our eyes on that 58" Panny with the THX I see. If I'm still around, better yet, if we all survice this meltdown in the economy lets hope we'll all have a job and the prices will drop to under 2 grand.
I hope this will lead to a drop in price for LCD panels and an all out war between the Plasma makers. I've go my eyes on that 58" Panny.
As the owner of a HD DVD player my curiosity has noe peaked with this new Sony Blu Ray Player. DTHD Bitstream Audio, HDMI 1.3 xvycc, PIP, Quick Load, Ethernet connection, Upscale chip for 480i DVD...Mmmmm! Can't beat em, I might as well join em..Now! If only the price was a bit lower...
Nerve gonna happen..Never
So! Where do I leave my comments? And what should I say? I wanna win.
Warner betrayed Toshiba. HD DVD IMO is a much better product and value for the consumer. I have seen Blu ray in action everyday working for a Electronic retailer and I am very disappointed. Not in the quality of the picture which is on par with HD DVD, but with the playability of the machines from Sharp, Samsung, Panasonic, and especially Sony entry level model. That player was constantly jamming and took forever to load. And now that I've gotten use to the excellent IME HD DVD offers, and the Web Enabled features that HD DVD has, it will be a hell of a long time before I jump on the Blu ray wagon until the specs are up to what HD DVD offered. Even though I tried I still cannot see any advantage Blu ray offered over HD DVD. But I guess Sony and all it's might an power showed how determined to get what they want even if they have to force it down our throats, and pay everyone off. Had the PS3 not had a Blu ray drive built in, there is no way Blu ray would have gained the lead it has based on what the consumers would prefer.
Come on! Like who could avoid the obvious...That's one hell of a breather she has.
Garbage1 and a total waste of good money. It does nothing more that anyone can visually see than a PS3 or even a $199 HD DVD player or a dual format player. It's not even up to specs. Imagine how many great Hi Def movie one could buy for a $199 or $399 HD player the price they're selling this thing for? What a hell of a collection that would be.
Will Smith after he has been in a fight, and lost, with Mike Tyson.
Well as you see you are totally wrong. It's rampant and only getting worst. Look what's going on with Apple and the iPhone. Who do they plan of taking to court next? The shopping mall and the elevator manufacturers for playing music in them? Fuc*ing morons.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
