It should be noted that you can still download the previous version for free if all you're looking for is minimal, full-screen word processing glory.
If it's a one-time deal, then you can also use the DATE function and add/subtract 4 from the YEAR and add/subtract 1 from the DAY.
My Macbook loses a fair amount of juice (~1-2% every hour of sleep) after it sleeps for a few hours and I open it back up again. So, if I put it to sleep and wake up in the morning I may very well end up with an almost dead battery when I need to quickly do some intensive tasks and I have to connect a power source or else I will lose my unsaved work.

Also, if I drain the battery all the way down and the Macbook goes to sleep, then plug-in a power source, it forces a restart of the system instead of waking up from a "deep sleep" with a ghosted image of the monitor's last image (like it should or used to).

Has anyone else had these problems? Is this due to a Leopard update?

I don't remember this ever happening with older Mac portables and pre-Leopard updates on my Macbook. I installed Battery Update 3.1 for the Macbook and it seems to have reduced the problem slightly but not entirely.
What if you have an encrypted wireless network? How do guests get on the same network without having to input the encryption key or wireless network password?
As far as I can tell, you have to export each calendar in iCal, then import it into Google Calendar to setup a new Google Calendar (or combine them into one).
Works great except iCal won't accept Outlook invites into a Google calendar. I was able to accept Outlook invites and put them into one of the local iCal calendars before.

Any workaround for this?

Also, how do you make a local backup of the Google calendar in iCal?
I would love this as an option.

ALSO, I would love it if I could have account-specific signatures on the iPhone just like in Mail. For some reason, I feel stupid putting my school signature in any personal emails.
It looks just like the setup for Drum Mania in the arcade years ago. I'm not sure why Bemani can't sue and get a piece of the Guitar Hero/Rock Band pie.
So it seems like there's a problem here with earlier works from lesser known artists. Amazon!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
