How do they get "screwed" with a lemon? They don't own the car. Yes, they are obliged to maintain the car for the lease period, even if that means paying for something out-of-pocket if it's not covered by the warranty. It's in the agreement and a risk you take as a lessor.

IMO it's absolutely ridiculous to lease a car for a term that extends beyond the length of the warranty -- say, a 4-year lease on a car that has a 3-year warranty. That's just asking for trouble.

Perhaps these people should go back to buying cars they can actually afford.
I stopped reading #3's comment after "especially when compared to acura.com".

Acura.com makes you click a link to "launch" the site. The website then pops up in a new, smaller window. HORRIBLE design, even if the actual website is clean and informative, which it is. But "CLICK HERE TO ENTER!!!!11" is a deadly sin in my design world.

Scion.com is indeed a fairly well-designed site.
Between yesterday's "Apple drops 10.4.5" post and this one, I think Engadget should "drop" Paul Miller if he continues the improper usage of the word. It's confusing, unprofessional, and a lousy gimmick.
"an 11-year-old girl using the DS's Pictochat program was propositioned several times by men asking questions about her age and gender"

So... she got a bunch of IMs with "Hay, A/S/L??!?!?"
Crap, I just bought a 14" iBook last week. Does Apple do free/discounted upgrades for recent purchases?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
