Minneapolis, MN had lots of signal (even with the 'E' on the iPhone), but no EDGE around the noon hour central time. Doesn't appear to work still at 2:00 PM central time.
Received our replacement straps August 2 WITH new locking mechanism. They take a wii bit longer to clamp than the old slider mechanism, but feel much more secure. Big improvement overall!
