Actually they don't! But its still funny as hell seeing people talking in Romanian on this site! As for the HD. All I can say is good for them!
Apart from the news this is, I am happy to see that someone here at Engadget is using a Romanian news source for his posts!
I love My Name is Earl refferences!
@Jamma

You can say that again. too bad we didnt win though.

as for the i phone matter, it appearently seems that the sun is shining on our doorstep at long last. yes, this 3g iPhone is what i have been waiting for. although they could have ffit in a speaker or two in there.
in my line of work what i read about the new "netbooks" is just perfect. I hate carrying a heavy laptop in my bag all day long. these keyboards are jsut right for me, enugh to type documents, and the new resolutions are comfortable for my eyes and viewing pleasure.
This MSI Wind hits the sweet spot, with all the connectivity i really need (Bluetooth, card reader, Wi-fi, 3 USB ports) which is more than i could use at a time.
The price seems right, when you add the decent battery life. it's lightwieght yet it can be used for up to 5h, I think this is the future of laptops, even though the pricing has doubled since the initial concept.
If you have to carry a laptop around you all day it might as well be small and light.
I wonder how much time it takes the robot to write a postcard to nina. ;)
I'd never thought that a Romanian designed car would make it to engadget. Haha. It really means that the guys at Renault are doing their job right. Way to go Dacia (that's a bit of national pride there)
ok, so i was badly informed. the harry winston opus V was created with the help of Felix Baumgartner, the founder of Urwerk (thus the same design). the opus V was covered by engadget in 2005 (more specifically Jun 20th; good archive, guys) and the satellite thing i was talking earlier about it has to do with the little blocks that are arranged like satellites on a three-dimensional rotating system, showing the time as they spin around. my bad.

the harry winston now retails for as much as 289.000 on ebay.
actually this is not the first of its kind. there's a harry winston watch, the opus 5, pictured here

that uses the same system. and i think it might be cheaper too. the thing with this watch is that it somehow uses satellites to keep it on time. i guess that at this price it comes with its one satellite.
Yes, just like our friend Izzard would say.. DEATH BY TRAY IT SHALL BE!!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
