first of all it's soo bad that Engadget said bad comments about this produc. THIS IS A MP3 PLAYER! and it's much better then nano and let me try to prove that:
What are the most important specs that one wants from an mp3 player?
1. Good sound - both nano and this do have it
2. Small - nano is not smaller then this .. u can't put nano in your pocket (jeans pocket or whatever) because it's too big for that and also you're always afraid that the screen can get damaged.
3. Battery Life - nano has like 15-16 hours of battery life and that's it you have to come home/office to recharge it ... while with this you have 50-70 hours of battery life on one AA battery and u can always have 3 extras with you in your bag (4 pack battery is very cheap and together with the recharger you can get them for 25 dollars and use them up to 1000 times) that you can change immediatelly (something you can't do with nano), which means 4x50,70 or 200-280 hours of battery life ;)
LCD - Nano does have better LCD but why do you need a color LCD for your mp3 player - to watch photos YEAH RIGHT .. i have a digital camera with 2.5 inches lcd and I dont watch photos in that witout putting them in my computer ... and the nano has smaller lcd then that !!!!
etc.etc.

so clearly this product is better and more useful and is soo small and light .... it's just that Apple has better marketing and has the market conqured because unaware american's keep buying their products :(
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
