I cannot wait to get this for college, hook it up to a 24" dell wide screen, so much *COUGH*COUGH* Studying *COUGH*COUGH*.
who is still left on the HD-DVD side? Hope this isn't permanent something about blu-ray makes me uncomfortable.
Too bad I convinced my mom to buy a new laptop, these are pretty good deals. Hope the laptop lineup gets some nice updates as well.
happy birthday. This means the wii is coming up in a few days.
Those two products were made with style in mind. This is a stylish device. If you want to charge your treo(or whatever) with your plug in wall adapter, go ahead. If you want a futuristic product that even your rich friends will not have because it is so new, then this is for you. Its not that bad, $100 to shoot energy though the air, well worth the money. If you want to use regular old direct connecting to power your devices, you can stay in the stone ages, the rest of us are progressing forward.
having an all-in-one device would really help with traveling on the bus.
is it?
good, these 2d screens really suck.
From what I heard the deals where for pretty good deals, and the computers did not suck at all. However it is being sold at Wal-Mart so I will never buy it.

On an related note Dell recently laid-off %10 of thier work-force so I guess you save some green and thousands of people are now unemployed, I hope people enjoy thier new computers.

Wal-Mart strikes again.
Finally, I have been watching this story for what seems like forever, and its good to see some actual use.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
