"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
Mindless drivel such as your only seeks to perpetuate the lack of responsibility that consumers should be accountable for. Quite frankly, consumers are 100% responsible for their own health. If you die of heart disease/failure/etc, you truly only have yourself to blame. I am slightly overweight and I known it's my own fault. If I ate better and worked out, I would be in terrific shape, even if I only ate McDonald's all day long.
Stop giving excuses to the mindless population that seeks to blame others, sue large corporations for the consumers lack of personal accountability that they fail to take, and then end up passing the buck (increasing costs) to the rest of the consumer base because these corporations are trying to recoup what they have lost from frivalous lawsuits.
