Epic Games prez compares Wii to a "virus" {Engadget}
Apr 21st 2008 1:26PM If MS and Sony made consoles similar to the wii, they would create competition for Nintento, who would be forced to improve their console. What we would end up with is a better version of the wii. Would that be a bad thing? There are things that could be changed about the wii, but I love mine all the same.
There is a market for the more expensive consoles, which is why MS and Sony went that route. There is also a market for a reasonably priced (and also fun) console, which is why the wii is selling so well.
