I can't enter appointments or edit Notes on my iPod Video either, and it is still useful.

If you don't like the feature set, then don't buy it. And calm down.

Most people don't care about entering appointments. Most people don't use PDAs....why add features that just generate support headaches. Pushing the calendar data from the desktop is easy and reliable. Just like it is now with the iPod and iTunes.

If that's not good enough, then just keep your calendar on the internet. No syncing required.

Apple will sell millions of these.
If you thought the 5G iPod was ugly, well you have a point. Otherwise, what's the big deal?
I watch video on my iPod almost every day. It is obviously NOT the ultimate viewing experience, but just fine for watching TV shows or video podcasts of less than one hour. Perfect for my commute by bus.

The new Nano screen would be a bit smaller, but for shorter content, the size is acceptable.
If you are all such design gods....build your own iPod.

This would be perfect for my son. Video with no hard drive to mess up.
oh! me please!
Forget all this sewing into clothes crap...just buy one of these and go wireless for about $35 :

Palm is pathetic. And irrelevant. No WiFi? I'm so not excited.
Just buy a $400 Dell and a $30 KVM. Dual boot is a pain anyway.
Al the infuriating features of Windows, in a new more portable package. Now you can take your grief anywhere.
I love to watch the entertainment industry commit financial suicide. At what point do consumers say "screw you" and refuse to consume their "product". I'm almost there, myself.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
