It's always the same people that keep having their consoles break. I've had my 360 Elite for over a year now, and it still works fine. I've never had a single console break, in my collection of consoles are 2xXbox, 1xXbox360, Dreamcast, Gamecube, N64, Genesis, PSP, not a single one of them has had a bit of problems.

Keep the power brick 2 feet away, and keep it horizontal, and you'll be fine

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
