Developers care. How many times has a developer said the reason they brought their once Sony exclusive to 360 or the reason they are doing an exclusive for 360 is because of how much better its selling. If Sony continues to outsell MS worldwide, the only reason they'd have eventually is that its easier to develop for. That might not even matter when developers get accustomed to PS3.
Superman ripping body parts off? Should be sweet.
Give me online split screen (even just 2 players per console) and split screen system link Infinity Ward! It's outrageous that an FPS in 2007 supports split screen but no split screen system link. No LAN parties! :(
Um, hasn't the Wii's sales dropped drastically over the last couple of months? And I'm assuming due to supply constraints. I remember the Wii used to do about 65k-85k every week, now it's down in the 30s. It seems like the Wii is more dropping than the PS3 is catching up. I'm no fanboy of either, but that's just what it looks like. And if the Wii is dropping due to supply only, I don't really think much has changed.
And 360's already awesome game library continues to get bigger and bigger.
Ha, no wonder Sony is jealous.
Actually, the ISO for Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for the original Xbox is around 150mb. This game is very small. It would easily fit on XBLA as it is.
I think MS should do some kind of drop soon (at E3). I mean I don't think everyone's gonna go out and buy a PS3 now it's dropped by $100, but I think MS would sell a boatload of 360s with a price equivalent to the Wii or less (for the core version). Plus, it'd just make the PS3 look worthless at the same time.
I've played the beta and it really isn't that good. The graphics are horrible. It's fairly standard fast-paced Quake gameplay, but I dunno, maybe Halo has spoiled me.
So I guess, for now, developers can't really do better on either console. It's just about which version comes out later that depends on the better graphics.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
