The Shield is without a doubt one of the greatest dramas in television history. Too bad its probably too intense for most of the "kiddies" on these threads. ;)
No offense, but good, we don't need cheaters and modders on XBOX Live, enjoy your break from XBOX Live courtesy of Microsoft.
I reported over a month ago the adapter was going to be priced at $99.99 retail and the current adapter would drop in price. But people just laughed and pelted me with dirt clods, but I guess I was right so all of you who doubted me, you can get on your knees and suck my Wireless-P.
I wish there was a way people could donate points to their friends, I really dont need another 100 points. I read the page but I guess I understood it as they were giving 100 points for signing up to the pilot program. My bad then.
Well I didn't get my 16,000 points from the program, I have had them. I actually had 20,000 points but had to use some. But I was told I would get 100 points, which I really don't need, but that they were applied to my account for participating in the XBOX Live Rewards Pilot, but they weren't added. Oh well.
I am part of the XBOX Live Rewards Pilot program. For the record, 60,000 XBOX Live members were asked to participate. Since XBOX Live has over 20 million users, as you can see a very small percentage were invited into the program. Everyone who is received an email the other day saying they received 100 marketplace points in their account for participating. I didn't, even though I have about 16,000 marketplace points already on my acccount. Yes, 16,000, which will probably take me years to use, but I didn't pay anything for them so I can't complain about 100 points not being added. But it appears there is already a hiccup with their system since the 100 weren't added. Hopefully others received their points though.
Thanks for the number, I ended up contacting the via email and they asked for the required info regarding my pre-order, verified it, and then emailed me the code. :)
What is more frustrating is when you pre-order the game at...cough cough...Gamestop because they offer up a bonus in-game weapon pack for EVERYONE who pre-orders, and then come launch day they give the usual "We were shorted" lame ass excuse. It's their way of selling more copies of a game, promising you something to pre-order from them, and then they say they were shorted when it comes to getting the code to unlock said weapon pack. Gamestop needs to be called out on this, since they have been pulling this crap for a while now on various games. People who pre-order it should receive the bonus item, and Corporate office always wants to point the finger at others rather than themselves.
Less emphasis on the orbs this time. I enjoyed searching for them but they didn't need 300 plus orbs to find, which got rather frustrating when you couldn't find a few, despite the patch to make them "hum" in the game when you were close. Maybe have 100 of them hidden throughout, but not anymore than that.
Have to agree with a number of people here, how is this newsworthy? This is completely old information, its been posted well over a month now that the bundle is coming out the 10th of November as well as the standard game by itself. Perhaps maybe if this bundle was mistakenly placed in a large Mylar balloon and let adrift would major news carriers pick it up, but this is really nothing new information wise.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
