YOU KNOW were gonna pay for it out the ass. for example a 360 with all it's extra's or our ps3 fixation, what about out $600 cell phone obsesion(cough treo 700p cough) come on. to hell with edge,gprs,1xrtt.. wibro,evdo and hsdpa is the wave.i hate that we always play catch up.

Apr 22nd 2006 11:29AM I hope everything that is reported is what is coming in that update. But it wouldn't make sense only because palm would seem to lose,i mean why buy the 700p if all ur getting is
1.a little bit more memory.
2.an upgraded but still barely noticeable difference in a 1.3 mp camera
3.EVDO (or UMT'S when it's available sometime next year.thanks cingular and t-mo)
If this is all i'm gonna get then i'm sticking with my non branded unlocked GSM 650. Why spend $400 and get locked into a 2 year contract that's probably gone run close to $100 a month
If there really is a wifi update coming, i'm canceling my data plan. I live in new york and 80% of places i go have wifi access.

fugitsu's loox T is looking hot... There's our treo killer people....built in GPS...UMT's....dual camera's @ 2mp and best of all BUILT IN WIFI. one minor plus to me is that there is no antena.
The cons:
(1) it will never be released in the united states
(2) it will never be released in the united states

(4) WINDOWS..WINDOWS..WINDOWS..WINDOWS..WINDOWS.
(5) You know the price is gonna be over $800 and even more if you find some back channels to get it thru.

I even checked out the other pics they had from treo central and even on their forums their going wild for that stupid thing. It's a custom job done on a 650 or 600. It's obsurd..hot neon blue...face down...no specs...Engadget Engadget Engadget- tsk tsk tsk tsk.. The amount of rumors you guys have been helping to spread is getting ridiculous.

Mar 15th 2006 3:55PM Voip and wifi is the future baby! Now that even microsoft reconizes this fact every company and their mother is gonna be jumpin on this band waggon. Hopefully phone manufacturers will pump out some nice form factor styled phones like the treo(except with wifi)
