I know the PS3 has blu-ray capabilites but can it also do hd-dvd? Just wondering.
R.I.P. Xbox with your $160 (or whatever) addon making yourself alittle more expensive with worser a worser drive.
This thing alone is as big as the Wii.
The second microsoft releases a hd dvd drive (seperate or not) they've already lost to the ps3. The price will be only alittle different at that point and the ps3's blu-ray is superior.
Do looks actulay matter for a game console? it could look like a pile of shiz but if it was ka with good games i could careless.
Well this doesn't make sense for ms. They had 2 edges, the way too early release and the cheaper than ps3 console. If this thing does cost 200 bucks they've lost that edge. Even if it costs 100 bucks at that point the xbox is not that much cheaper considering how expensive they already are and blu-ray is superior anyway.
Whats up with everyone I know (and most of you guys for that matter) and caring what about what a console looks like. The boomerang controller looked weird yes, but why do you care? It looked very comfortable from a hand stand point and theres nothing wrong with the old controler design. As long as it is a good console I could give a sh1t what it looks like, what its name is, etc.
I think they must have been smoking pot or something. Why the hell would they call it wii? Even "go" is better... Revolution was good.
Unless I'm not getting this, (very likely) is this just a touch screen with a projecter?

I don't see why Warcraft III would be so great with this anyway.
Fugley, they really need to get a better paint job on that if you know that I mean. It does look cheap as well to some extent. Probably later versions will look better though.

However, if they do to make it as small as they say they are, thats really cool.

I was kind of hoping that they had a different sound volume control. The one on the regular ds to me is really sensitive.

On the whole, I think the size they've done well but they could do various improvements.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
