Until there's a malfunction - and the wood catches fire.
You probably lost your $1 then.
It's a good thing I don't have ING Direct banking then.
Where have you been?

Any App capable of GPS (that would be any App that requests your location) on the iPhone and sending data back to the developer is basically Spyware.

Any 3rd party App that asks for any login credentials from another service. Again Spyware.

Don't kid yourself most of the Apps on the iPhone are tracking you in some fashion.
Wait for it.....

Toxic Battery Leaks to to come.

This is why the replaced Mercury in Thermometers years ago.

My other issue with this - is high temperature liquid metals - what is going to generate the heat to heat up the metals to liquid states in the first place?

Not going to be perpetual.
@Kurian:
Go check yopur facts - Safari 4 and Chrome 3 as of this posting not only passed the ACID 3 test 100/100 but they did it before Opera 9/10 did.

Opera originally passed the test first earlier in 2008 - however - the ACID Test Group found bugs in the process and after the fix [the correct Test] was released Webkit got there first.

Sorry.
Well - 2 things - go across the state line and buy a TV OR buy one online from a company not based in california.
@zboot:

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
